How do you start your day,.?!
What do you do first thing in the morning to get your day started? Is it a cup of tea or coffee? There are 5 reasons why you should drink water before your coffee or tea
This is how the majority of people begin their day in the morning. But consider this: does drinking tea really provide the body with a feeling of freshness? It will undoubtedly wake you up and get your day started. However, there are other sides of coffee and tea consumption that have negative health consequences.
While most people are conscious that drinking tea or coffee in bed is not a smart idea, they prefer to do so as their first daily routine.
If giving up this habit is difficult for you, you should begin by doing anything to reduce the negative effects of tea and coffee.
Before you drink your tea or coffee, drink a glass of water. It doesn’t matter whether you drink it in the morning or in the evening.
Let me tell you, why you should drink water before tea or coffee.
1. Coffee/tea acidity will be kept to a minimum.
You will sense a burning feeling within your stomach lining if you drink coffee without water. Have you ever asked why this happens? Because of the acidic existence of tea and coffee, this is the case.
Coffee has a pH of 5 and tea has a pH of 6, all of which are acidic. The pH of water is 7, which is called neutral in nature. Drinking coffee without water will increase acid content in the stomach, resulting in acidity and other serious illnesses. Water tends to keep the pH in place and avoids the production of acids.
Until drinking tea or coffee, drink one glass of regular water in the morning and evening. This will help to prevent stomach lining injury.
2. Reduces the influence of coffee on teeth
Due to their high tannin content, coffee and tea both stain teeth and give teeth a dark color. When you drink coffee, tannin acid settles into your pores, discoloring them.
To decrease the rate of staining caused by the acidic quality of tea on teeth, drink one glass of regular water before consuming tea/coffee, or wipe the teeth with a tissue after tea.
Drinking water after tea can also help remove stains, but you must wait at least 15 minutes after the tea/coffee has been eaten.
3. Avoid stomach ulcers
As I previously said, tea contains tannin acid, which causes the stomach’s acid level to rise. When the tea is over-brewed, the tannins become more concentrated, increasing the acid content in the stomach and allowing ulcers to form on the lining.
In other words, the length of time it takes to brew tea/coffee is closely related to the number of stomach ulcers it causes; the longer it takes to brew tea/coffee, the more ulcers it causes.
Before drinking tea or coffee, drink one glass of water to dilute the acid in your stomach to keep away ulcers from forming. Doctors also discovered that drinking one cold glass of water relieves ulcer pressure in patients.
4. Before you drink coffee, make sure you hydrate your body.
When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thing you do? I’m sure most people drink tea and coffee because they believe it hydrates their bodies and meets their water needs, but this is not the case.
Your body is absolutely dehydrated when you wake up in the morning. When you drink tea or coffee on an empty stomach, you dehydrate your body even more and drain out any residual fluids, resulting in nausea, heat, body aches, and fatigue.
Drink one glass of water before your tea, whether it’s morning or evening. It can hydrate the body first, preventing nutrients and minerals from being flushed out and maintaining the body’s water balance.
5. Reduce the negative consequences as much as possible.
Many tests suggest that drinking tea and coffee has health benefits, but there are also unpleasant side effects whether you drink it first thing in the morning or on an empty stomach. It does serious internal harm to the body. These unfavorable consequences mount up over time, creating a slew of health concerns in the process.
We all know that the majority of diseases begin in the stomach. As a result, we should be extra cautious about what we eat and drink.
It can be difficult to give up your morning tea and coffee. Make it a practice to drink one glass of water after each cup of tea or coffee to reduce the negative effects.
